  • Console based administration is gone and everything is performed via a Web interface
  • Roles have been reduced from the five in Exchange 2010 to only three
  • Modern Public Folders which are now stored in the mailbox database and can take advantage of Database High Availability group for high availability
  • DLP (Data Loss Prevention) Policies that can be implemented through Transport Rules
  • Better handling of Network Load Balancing scenarios with multiple CAS Servers
