PowerShell Alias – Why not to use them in scripts

As you know alias are “second names”, or if you prefer shortcuts, for standard PowerShell commands, PowerShell comes with a good number of Aliases already defined and allows you to create your own with the New-Alias cmdlet, to display currently defined aliases for your system simply issue the following command:
